After the incident, the owner of the dogs did nothing to help and instead left with his dogs. The four girls had to call for an ambulance themselves and were taken to a hospital for treatment. They received injections for rabies prevention as well.
According to police reports, there are no surveillance cameras in this area of the mountain so it is difficult for them to find any leads on identifying or locating the owner of these aggressive dogs.
In response to this incident, officials from Fuyi County's Pujin Mountain Scenic Area stated that they do not have any rules against visitors bringing their pets into the park since it is an open space where animals can roam free without much supervision.
