(1) Password and Action Practice
Teach your Arfinga Dobermann to associate a specific password with the action of picking up an object.
Use your right hand, with the index finger pointing towards the dog, to guide them in picking up items.
(2) Training Process and Methodology
Hold a treat or toy that emits your scent near your right hand.
Give the password while shaking the item to stimulate their interest.
Repeat this process until they learn to respond correctly. Reward them when they do so.
If they fail, gently press their lower jaw downwards to encourage them to drop the object. Through consistent practice, you'll find that their responses become more precise over time.
